Mid drive motors were developed to take advantage of a bike's multi-speed transmission. So, why get rid of that?? Well, because on a hunting bike we seldom need more than one gear and favor torque/climbing over speed. So, we can get rid of the weak link in the chain (pun intended) by removing the derailleur and making the drive train more robust with more durable chains & cogs.

Based on what model of bike or e-bike you want to add the single speed kit to, the ingredients can vary, but we us the strongest chains in the business, heavy duty cogs, Lekkie Bling Rings, and when a tensioner is required we keep them low profile and rigid for durability. Sometimes a new rear wheel is required, which most of the time is included in the cost. Sometimes a belt drive is an option, but for our high torque e-bikes and kits, a belt drive isn’t gonna cut it.
