Or, maybe its perfect in hunting season, but way too slow for recreational summer riding, etc etc. The ‘dingle’ speed allows you to have a second “single speed” option that you can simple hop the chain over to and totally change your bikes torque and speed characteristics. An IGH is another way you can achieve this type of versatility, but they weigh a ton and cant create the torque we like to shoot for in our drive trains.
